HOW DOES DIRECT SELLING WORK?
Simply submit your photos to us via our online form to receive a quote within 24 hours. Once you have accepted our quote, send us the item and you will be paid after the item is authenticated.
HOW DOES THE “CONSIGNMENT SERVICE” WORK?
If you are not in a hurry to sell your item, we can help you sell it for a small fee. Simply submit your photos to us via our online form to receive a quote within 24 hours. Once you have accepted our quote, send us the item and you will be paid once your item sells.
IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN FEES BETWEEN "DIRECT SALE" AND "CONSIGNMENT SERVICE"?
Through "direct sale" we pay you instantly and assume all risk if the item does not sell. The difference in fees with consignment is 10 to 20%. Opting for our direct sale service means receiving instant payment.
CAN THE QUOTE CHANGE LATER?
We make great efforts to ensure that you have provided us with the correct photos and clear descriptions so that we can best assess the price before you send us your item. If it turns out that the item received does not match the description and photos received, we reserve the right to modify the quote or refuse the item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the seller.
WILL THE ITEM SENT BE AUTHENTICATED?
Yes, we pride ourselves on only dealing with 100% authentic items. First, our team of experts authenticate and verify that all markings, materials, stitching and serial numbers are all up to brand standards. Additionally, we also use reputable third-party experts such as Zeko's Authentication, Bababebi and Entrupy. If the item is found to be a counterfeit, an 80 CHF administrative fee will be charged for its return.
WHY WAS MY ITEM NOT ACCEPTED?
We are sorry that we were unable to provide you with a quote this time.
Here are some reasons why your article may not have been accepted:
- The item comes from a brand we don't usually work with
- Your item does not belong to a category we accept, such as clothing or perfume.
- The potential resale value of your item may be low (whether due to style, color, size, condition, etc.)
- We already have identical/similar items in stock at the moment. THELUXURYDEAL is the easiest and best place to sell luxury bags, so we encourage you to check back with us in a few months as our inventory changes often.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT PROCESS FOR THE SELLER?
When you go through "direct sale", your payment is made within 24 hours after the item is received and authenticated. Authentication can take between 1 and 3 business days.
When you go through the "consignment service", we will send you your funds minus the commission, within 24 hours after receiving the buyer's payment in our account. We transfer the funds via bank transfer.

HOW CAN I MAKE SURE ITEMS ARE AUTHENTIC?
Authenticity is our #1 priority . We work exclusively with 100% authentic products. Our team of in-house experts are carefully trained and equipped to examine every item we receive to determine its authenticity. Add to this, we use electronic authentication using the three most reputable authentication experts in the world – Entrupy, Zeko's Authentication and Bababebi.

*Please note that if you have any doubts about authenticity, the item will need to be returned to us and will be authenticated by a reliable source at your expense. The authentication fee and the total price paid will be refunded to you if the product is found to be inauthentic. Also note that Luxury House sellers are generally not trained to authenticate items.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE TO PAY ONLINE?
At THE LUXURY DEAL you can pay with all common payment methods. This includes: Twint, credit cards (VISA, American Express, Mastercard), debit cards and bank transfer.
For payment by bank transfer, please transfer the amount to our bank account within 24 hours of ordering.

ARE THE ITEMS NEW?
The condition corresponding to the item is indicated in the description of the advertisement.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?
You have 48 hours to return the item and obtain a THELUXURYDEAL credit (no refund).
The item must be returned in the same conditions of purchase, and with the THELUXURYDEAL seal intact.
Return requests are made to customer service. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Any possible customs and import fees will not be refunded to you.
-If you wish to cancel the order before you have even received it, you can also do so with a THELUXURYDEAL credit (no refund).
WHAT SHIPPING METHOD IS USED?
We only use shipping methods with tracking and signature, via Swiss Post or DHL. All shipments within Switzerland are free.
In some cases, for high value items, additional insurance is essential and may incur costs.
